What is Reiki

Reiki is actually made up of two Japanese words REI meaning "Universal” or "Spiritual" and KI meaning "Energy". The correct way to pronounce Reiki is “ray - key"

Reiki is an ancient healing art that Mikao Usui rediscovered in the early nineteenth century. Reiki has been passed down ever since through a series of attunements passed on from Reiki Teacher to student.

Reiki is a pure channelled form of healing which has no association with religion, faith or belief systems. It is best known in the west as a gentle but powerful system of hands-on healing. Reiki is a healing system that works with both the energy systems and the chakra systems from within the body, working on the body's natural ability to heal itself and finding its way to where it is needed.

At this time on earth there is a great need for healing.

Reiki can be delivered either "In person" where you will be present as I deliver the Reiki to you in my treatment room, or alternatively it can be sent to you remotely, via a Chi Ball, which I call "Distance Healing"
