Usui Reiki Training

There are two schools of thought in relation to Reiki Training. Firstly those that believe Reiki should be taught in person and secondly those that believe that Reiki can be remotely learned. I firmly believe that both methods are viable and that they both offer many positives, with not one method particularly more beneficial than the other.

I am quite often asked - " Can Reiki be learned from the internet? "

The answer I give is most definitely - " Yes! "

What I believe to be the most important factor, is personal choice. I have received my Attunements using both methods; by visiting a Reiki Master and having the Attunements sent by a distant method. They have both been an equally wonderful experience.

My role with Reiki is to release it from the shackles of being confined to only those who can afford to pay a premium for it, or to only those that are able to travel a distance to find someone willing to attune them. I have set my price so that Reiki is more accessible to people.

Reiki does not require you to live like a saint; you can still smoke, drink, eat red meat, swear and enjoy a healthy sex life whilst still being attuned to Reiki. These are your personal lifestyle choices and some of them you may decide to give up of your own accord further along your spiritual path.

What I do believe in, is that you should follow the Reiki Principles that position you to heal yourself, your family, the larger family, animals and the planet.

Reiki is actually made up of two Japanese words REI meaning "Universal” or "Spiritual" and KI meaning "Energy". The correct way to pronounce Reiki is “ray - key"

Reiki is an ancient healing art that Mikao Usui rediscovered in the early nineteenth century. Reiki has been passed down ever since through a series of attunements passed on from Reiki Teacher to student.

Reiki is a pure channelled form of healing which has no association with religion, faith or belief systems. It is best known in the west as a gentle but powerful system of hands-on healing. Reiki is a healing system that works with both the energy systems and the chakra systems from within the body, working on the body's natural ability to heal itself and finding its way to where it is needed.

No previous experience of Reiki is needed to start your journey to becoming qualified to apply Reiki to yourself and others 

The Course

Reiki can be studied at home and at your own pace. There is no need to attend classes at set times and in locations that may be difficult to travel to.

There is no time limit with a Home Study Course and you can take as long or as short a period of time that you wish to complete each level.

There are minimum guidelines that are set out on how long you leave between each level. However I do not enforce these and believe that if you are ready for your next Level then so be it and I will not delay your further development. Afterall, this is your journey and your choice.

Even if you have taken any Usui Reiki levels with another teacher I ask that you complete the whole course with me. You should see this as an opportunity to experience a refresher or skills boost for yourself.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level I
 
At level 1 in Usui Reiki you will be introduced to the wonderful energy of Reiki and attuned to it via a distance attunement. Each level or degree has a focus. The first Level focuses on physical and self healing.
 
You will be introduced to the origins of Reiki, how to perform a self treatment and how to share it with friends and family.
 
Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level II
 
The second Level focuses on healing at the emotional and mental level.

You will be shown and attuned to three symbols which will amplify your Reiki abilities and enable you to send healing distantly to people, wherever they may be in the world.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master/Teacher

At master level we are focusing on the teaching of Reiki.

At Master/Teacher level you will be shown and attuned to one Master Symbol which will amplify your abilities further and also enable you to pass attunements to other students in all three levels of Reiki.

Not everyone goes on to teach Reiki, this is a personal choice. Some just choose to receive the Master Level Attunement for their own development and to complete the Reiki Path. 

I will provide you with a manual and attunement. It is up to you to bring Reiki into your daily life by learning Reiki Principles, Self Healing, Reading Reiki Books and Meditating. This makes you responsible for your Reiki journey, in learning this way you are in control of your teachings. This is all about Self Empowerment.
